• Handcrafted construction is time-intensive; production time varies by size.
• Depending on the size of the rug, and for the protection of the rug, we may use a custom cardboard box for shipping. The rug will be folded into the box and when unfolded in your room, may show some creases. These will completely dissipate over a short time. The “weft” (foundation) of the rug is 100% cotton and will lie completely flat after the rug “relaxes.”.

Care

• Light shedding is normal at first and will lessen with regular vacuuming.
• Temporary creases from packaging are normal; they will relax as the rug lays flat over time.
• A slight odor may be noticeable when first opened; allow the rug to air out and it will dissipate.
• This rug is incredibly durable and will provide years of service. When necessary clean spills or spots by blotting with a mild soap and water solution, rinse with clean water.
• Allow to air dry.
• When drying, lift the affected area from the floor so that air can circulate.
• If any fibers protrude above the surface, carefully trim them level with the pile using scissors.
• You should rotate your rug periodically to promote even wear and exposure to light.
• For major cleaning contact a qualified handmade rug cleaner.
